Nobody free? Pass the job to an office nearby.
When you can't cover a job, send it to the DispatchMe marketplace at a price you set. Offices within three miles can take it with their own driver. You keep your commission, capped at 10%, and the job's progress comes back to your board.
It works the other way too: when your drivers are quiet, take jobs other offices can't cover.
How do I pass on a job I can't cover?
From the job itself. Nothing goes to the marketplace unless someone in your office sends it.
- 1
Send to marketplace
On a job with no driver, choose Send to marketplace. Set the price and your commission, up to 10%. - 2
Nearby offices see it
Offices within three miles see the areas, time, price, passengers, bags and needs. Not the passenger's name or number. - 3
One office takes it
Their own driver does the job. If they drop it, it comes straight back at the same terms, and they can't take it again. - 4
Progress comes back
Status updates copy back to your booking, so your board shows where the job is. Take it back any time before it's taken.
Taking other offices' jobs
Taking jobs from the marketplace is an add-on that DispatchMe switches on for your office. Once it's on, the Marketplace page shows what's on offer nearby and your bell rings when a new job appears.

Who owes what, kept straight
The office that took the booking has the passenger's payment. It owes the office that did the job the fare less its commission. DispatchMe works that out and keeps the record; no money moves through it.
- Commission earned on jobs you passed on
- What you still owe other offices, and what they still owe you
- Mark a payment paid, with a reference if you have one
Sharing drivers, not just jobs
A driver can also work for more than one office with one login. Invite them from the Drivers page, or give them your join code, and your office keeps its own profile for them: your callsign, your terms, your approval. Neither office sees the other's jobs, earnings or messages. Read how this fits offices that run more than one base.
Questions offices ask
Who can see a job I send to the marketplace?
Offices within three miles of yours that have the marketplace switched on. Before they take it, they see the postcode areas, the time, the price, passengers, bags and any needs such as wheelchair access. The passenger's name and number go only to the office that takes the job.
How much can I keep from a job I pass on?
You choose your commission when you send it, up to 10% of the fare. A lower cut makes the job worth more to the office that takes it, and the listing shows them exactly what they'll get.
Does money change hands through DispatchMe?
No. Your office took the booking, so you have the passenger's payment. DispatchMe records that you owe the other office the fare less your commission. You pay them and mark it paid, and both sides see it settled.
Is the marketplace free?
No. Taking other offices' jobs is an add-on we switch on for you, charged per driver place each week, and the office that passes a job pays a small fee for each job another office takes. Ask us for the current prices.
Does the passenger know another office did the job?
DispatchMe doesn't tell them. Their booking stays with you, and their tracking link follows the job's progress, but it doesn't show the other office's driver details.
