Several offices, one set of drivers to call on.
On DispatchMe each office is its own account, with its own board, prices and records. Staff who cover more than one office switch between them, a driver can work for more than one office with one login, and offices can pass jobs to each other when they're short.
There is no combined group view yet. If that matters to you, read the small print below before you start.
How do several offices work together on DispatchMe?
Three things connect them. Each is set up separately, so you choose how closely your offices work.
Staff who switch offices
Drivers who work for more than one
Jobs passed between offices
What each office keeps to itself.
- Each office has its own licence details, drivers, vehicles, documents and reports
- A job taken from another office is a new booking on the taking office's board, so its records stay its own
- The record of each booking notes when a job was passed to, or taken from, another operator
- Staff only see the office they've switched into
- A driver who works for several offices is a separate profile at each, and no office can see another's
| Set per office | Example |
|---|---|
| Prices | Tariffs, vehicle classes, waiting and no-show fees |
| Commission | The rate, and whether drivers see net fares or full fares with weekly rent |
| Records | Record of bookings, staff register, compliance exports |
| Customers | Passengers and account customers, with their own invoices |
Setting it up.
- 1
Sign up each office
Each one signs up on its own and gets its own board and defaults. - 2
Ask us to join your staff up
Tell us who should reach which offices, and we add their sign-in to each. - 3
Bring shared drivers in
Under Drivers, invite the driver by phone or email, or give them your join code. They accept in the app with the login they already have. - 4
Decide on overflow
Any office can post jobs to the marketplace. Taking jobs from it is switched on by us, on request.
The small print.
No group view yet
There is no head-office screen across all your offices, no combined report and no group billing. Each office is billed, reported and exported on its own.Marketplace distance
Marketplace jobs are only shown to offices within 3 miles of the posting office's base. Offices further apart can still share drivers: a driver can join both.Questions offices ask
Is there one screen for all my offices?
No. Each office is its own account with its own board, drivers, prices and reports. Staff who work for several offices switch between them from the console. There is no combined group view or group report yet.
Can one driver work for two of my offices?
Yes, with one login. Each office invites the driver by phone or email, or gives them its join code, and keeps its own profile for them: callsign, car, commission terms and approval. The driver has a separate online switch for each office, and can share the documents they've already uploaded; each office checks its own copy.
Will one office see the other office's work?
No. An office only ever sees its own profile of the driver. While the driver is on another office's job they show as Unavailable, with no office name, job or location trail. Earnings, messages, ratings and notes stay with the office they belong to.
How do I give a manager access to every office?
Ask us. DispatchMe adds a sign-in to each office it should reach, and that person then sees a switcher in the console. Their role is set per office.
Can my offices pass jobs to each other?
Yes, through the partner overflow marketplace. One office posts a job it can't cover; another office that has taking jobs switched on accepts it and sends its own driver. The posting office keeps a commission, capped at 10%.
