About

Made for a cab office, not a ride-hailing app.

DispatchMe is dispatch software for UK taxi and private-hire offices: a dispatch console in the browser, plus Office, Driver and Passenger apps. It exists because the person running the desk at a cab office has a different job from a ride-hailing algorithm, and DispatchMe is built around that job.

Why does DispatchMe exist?

A cab office takes bookings by phone, from regulars, schools and businesses, and sends its own licensed drivers. The product has been shaped by calls with people who run UK cab offices, and a few things came up again and again.

The desk is often a new starter

The person allocating is usually not the licence holder. So DispatchMe says who to send and why, in plain words, and they can do the job on their first night.

Vehicles by size, not model

Standard, XL, Minibus, each saying how many people and bags it takes. Nobody on the desk should need to know a car model to send the right one.

Money the way offices already run it

Commission off each fare, or full fares with rent at the end of the week. Driver balances and cash-outs that match how the office actually pays.

Passengers pay the driver

Cash or the driver's card machine, or on account for business customers. DispatchMe doesn't take card payments from passengers.

Records the licensing authority asks for

A locked record of every booking, written before the journey starts, a staff register with DBS details, and driver documents checked before anyone goes online.

No sales call to look

Sign up yourself, or open the live demo, a made-up London fleet, and try it before you speak to anyone.

How it's built.

One web application does everything. The apps on the phone are the same product, made to work well on a phone.

Questions about us

Who is behind DispatchMe?

DispatchMe is a trading name. The operating company is being registered, and its name, number and registered office will be published on this site as soon as registration completes.

Is DispatchMe a ride-hailing app?

No. It is software for licensed private-hire and taxi offices to take bookings, dispatch their own drivers and keep their records. Passengers book with your office and pay your driver.

Where is my data kept?

On a server we run at Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. The app and its database are on the same server, and the database can only be reached from it.

How do I get help?

Offices use the help button in the console or email support@dispatchme.co.uk. Passengers with a question about a ride should contact the cab office they booked with.
